Nollywood star Timini Egbuson has weighed in on the dynamics of modern relationships, asserting that many women have placed a financial value on romance.

In a recent interview with TVC, Egbuson explained that this trend has led to wealthy men viewing relationships as transactional, making them less emotionally invested. He noted that some women equate financial generosity with love, but for affluent men, lavish spending does not necessarily indicate genuine affection.

“The nonchalant attitude of some men is because they have access to many women. Once you have money, you have options. And that is also because a lot of women have monetized dating,” Egbuson stated.

He further emphasized that while some women perceive extravagant spending as a sign of love, for billionaires, such gestures can be easily extended to multiple partners without emotional attachment.

Egbuson’s remarks have sparked discussions on social media about the evolving nature of relationships and the role of financial expectations in modern dating culture.
