Anonymous Philanthropist Feeds Thousands in Kano During Ramadan

A generous philanthropist in Kano has launched a large-scale humanitarian initiative, providing free iftar (Ramadan breakfast) to vulnerable individuals across ten feeding centers in the state.

The program, which began in Rimin-Gado town through Barrister Muhuyi Magaji, ensures that beneficiaries receive cooked rice, Kunun Tsamiya (Tamarind Gruel), and noodles every evening throughout the holy month.

Beyond the daily meals, the philanthropist has also distributed essential food supplies—including rice and noodles—as well as cash to over 2,000 vulnerable individuals and 150 orphans to support their sustenance during Ramadan.

Preferring to remain anonymous, the benefactor emphasized that the act was purely for the sake of Allah, in accordance with the Islamic duty of feeding the less privileged during Ramadan.

“I don’t need my name to be mentioned for the gesture,” the philanthropist stated.

Grateful beneficiaries, including Maijidda Iro and Sadiya Yusuf, expressed their appreciation for the support. “May Allah reward the person who provided it abundantly,” they said.
