Nigerian rapper and entertainer Okafor Uchenna Victor, popularly known as Mr Real, has openly called out veteran Afrobeat star Dbanj over unresolved professional and financial disputes.

Speaking during an interview on TheBeat 99.9 FM, the Legbegbe crooner reflected on his past working relationship with the award-winning musician.

Mr Real revealed that despite working with Dbanj for more than two years, the only payment he received was $500, which he described as inadequate for his input and contributions.

He also claimed that during a period when Dbanj was reportedly in custody, he sent ₦500,000 in support, yet the commitments he expected in return were allegedly not fulfilled.

“Every chance I get, I’ll be calling Dbanj out until he settles me,” Mr Real declared. The interview clip has since gone viral on social media, generating widespread reactions from fans and observers in the music industry.

Dbanj, whose full name is Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, is a celebrated Nigerian singer and music executive known for global hits like Oliver Twist.

Widely referred to as the “Koko Master,” he has remained a prominent figure in the Nigerian music scene since the early 2000s.
