The Kaduna State Government has urged the Nigerian Immigration Service to intensify efforts in tackling security threats along the boarders that formed the zone.
The Deputy Governor of the State, Dr Hadiza Balarabe, made the call when she received the Assistant Comptroller General of Nigerian Immigration Service in charge of Zone B, ACG Zainab Lawal on a courtesy call at the Government house Kaduna.
Dr Hadiza Balarabe assured the new Assistant Comptroller the state government of Government’s readiness to support her while discharging her duty.
She however prayed to the Almighty Allah to guide the new ACG to effectively carrying out her job deligently.
She also appreciated the job immigration was doing in the state especially on the issuance of passport among others.
In a remark, the Assistant Comptroller General incharged of zone B, Zainab Lawal said zone B comprises Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Sokoto, Zamfara, Illela and Jibia special borders.
Mrs Zainab Lawal described zone B as the largest zone in the Nigerian Immigration Services across the country, stressing that it was pertinent to work closely witho the state government.
She said the purpose of the visit was to avail her self to the state governor as the newly posted Comptroller General in charged of the zone.
