His Eminence the Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Saad Abubakar has declared Friday the 4th of March 2022 as the first day of SHAABAN 1443 after Hijira.
In a statement signed the chairman Advisory Committee on religious affairs Sultanate council Sokoto, professor Sambo Wali Junaidu in conjunction with the National Moon Sighting Committee says the declaration followed a report from the various Moon Sighting Committee across the country confirming the Sighting of the cresent of SHAABAN,1443 after Hijira. on Thursday the third of March 2022.
