The embattled Governor of Ebonyi State, Mr. David Umahi, says he is confident that he will come out of his current challenges victorious.
Governor Umahi stated this in Abuja while responding to correspondents’ questions about the his next line of action against the court judgment that terminated his administration as a result of his defection from PDP to APC.
The Governor said he was marvelled at the judgment in question, arguing that there is no constitutional provision that allows Governors to be sued.
Governor Umahi further buttressed his argument by quoting the Supreme Court as saying that votes belonged to candidates, not the party.
