The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, has advised politicians promising a better Nigeria to support President Muhammadu Buhari led administration with their ideas instead of waiting for 2023.
The President of Council, Comrade Solomon Adodo gave the advice during the inauguration of the “Youth-Run Campaign” in Abuja.
He alleged that most of the Presidential aspirants in the mainstream political party had been sabotaging the government of President Buhari.
Comrade Adodo stressed that there was still ample opportunity for such politicians to contribute meaningfully to the development of the Country.
He pointed out that youths had not been carried along on issues of governance and emphasized that the “Youth-Run Campaign” remained a platform for massive mobilization of youths towards 2023 elections.
The Youth Leader urged his colleagues across the Country to obtain their PVCs and contest for various political offices come 2023.
Comrade Adodo said that deliberate attention must be given towards addressing unemployment and poverty facing young Nigerians.
He advised youths to refrain from secessionist, terrorism and any anti-state action that could pose a threat to national unity and peace.
