The Benue State Governor-Elect, Reverend Hyacinth Alia has been advised to assemble a credible team of technocrats and policy makers with vast experience into the governance of the State so as not to dash the high expectations and the goodwill as demonstrated by the electorates in electing him.
This is contained in a congratulatory message to Rev. Alia and the Deputy Governor elect, Dr Sam Ode, and House of Assembly members elect by the National Commandant, Peace Corps of Nigeria, Professor Dickson Akoh.
He described the emergence of Rev Alia as a testament of the yearning of Benue people for change.
Professor Akoh expressed the confidence in the ability of the Governor-Elect to change the rhetoric in Benue State through Human Capital and Infrastructural Development in all nooks and crannies of the State.
He charged the House of Assembly Members-elect on the platform of the All-Progressives Congress to give their optimum best in enacting laws that would meet the yearnings and aspirations of the good people of the State.
