Heartily congratulate and rejoice with one of our most outstanding members, Ms Hussaina Akila Bangshika mni, SEC 43, 2021, the Director of News, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) on her well deserved election as Deputy President, Nigerian Guilds of Editor (NGE) recently. She was re-elected during the NGE 2023 Biennial Convention in Owerri, Imo State which has the theme “Post 2023 Election: Promoting Professionalism for Enhancement of Democracy and Good Governance.”
AANI is particularly proud of Ms Husseina Akila Bangshika mni, being the first female News Director at the FRCN, her immense contribution to broadcast journalism, national development and dedication and support to our association. Therefore we take joy and pride in her well deserved election as Deputy President of the highest association of journalism profession by her colleagues at the NGE.
Her election is also a clear testimony of her hard-work and contribution to the NGE, welfare of her colleagues and journalism profession. AANI heartily congratulate her and promised to continue to support her in the discharge of her duties as Deputy President of the NGE.
