A Group, the Kogi Conscience Liberation Movement, KCLM, has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to move all sensitive materials from the State to Abuja where the Tribunal have relocated.
During a news conference in Abuja, the National Secretary, Kogi Conscience Liberation Movement, Comrade Okpanachi Jacob pointed out that such materials were allegedly not safe since the Tribunal was no longer sitting in Kogi.
Comrade Jacob alleged security breach in the State and called for an urgent intervention of the security agencies.
He called for an overhaul of the security apparatus in Kogi State, emphasizing the need for security agents to avoid being involved in politics to ensure the lives of the people were safeguarded.
Comrade Jacob advised that all allegations of electoral malpractices be addressed to avoid replication in other States in forthcoming elections.
