A Christian Group, “Women in Ministry” has launched a programme to reach out to the sick and the needy in some parts of the Federal Capital Territory ahead of it’s conference tagged: “Women Of The Right Hand”.
Part of the programme was the distribution of gift items and to sick children and women at the National Hospital, Abuja.
They also shared free foods at communities near Gudu and Lokogoma in the Territory.
The Convener of the Programme, Pastor Ayannike Rotimi explained that the Group was trying to emulate the acts of Jesus Christ as well as spreading the gospel through that means.
Mrs. Rotimi, wife of a Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, explained that such Ministry started with only pastor’s wives, but that the wife of the General Overseer, Mrs. Adeboye later involved all women in the Church.
Speaking on behalf of the Zonal Leadership of the Church, Mrs. Lucy Omata urged those still living in sin to give their lives to Christ to have eternal life.
Our Correspondent reports that the event was coordinated by the Christ the King Parish, Province nine of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Abuja.
