National Assembly Press Corps Chairperson, Grace Ike Receives Award for Media Democratic Heroism
The Arewa Journalist Forum has presented an award for media democratic heroism to the Chairperson of the National Assembly Press Corps, Grace Ike for her giant strides in the media industry.
Arewa Journalists Forum is a conglomerate of Journalists and Media practitioners that cut across the 19 States and FCT in Northern Nigeria with Media affiliates across and outside Nigeria.
According to the President of the Forum, Hassan Galadima, the Group was a brand reputed for patriotism and commitment to the core responsibility of nation building through good governance and leadership.
In a statement signed by the President and life Board member, Ambassador Onoja, the Group felicitates with Grace Ike for her media expertise and professionalism and ability to navigate through the management of radical opinions and thorny issues in nation building and policy incubation in the furnace of the National Assembly under her leadership as the chair of the National Assembly Press Corp.
The Forum described the display of Grace’s astute media prowess and professionalism as unrivalled and unmatched.
It stated that after a careful review of the issues that played under her tenure and the maturity and professional judgement with which she managed crisis-free press issues in the National Assembly, Grace Ike deserves more.
The award would be presented to Grace Ike on Tuesday, this week.
