A Group, the Coalition of Nigeria Ethnic Nationalities, has appealed to youths agitating for National protest to give President Tinubu led administration more time to address the challenges facing Nigerians.
The National Coordinator of the Group, Elder Imo Okoko told newsmen in Abuja that he had confidence in the ability of the Government to alleviate the plights of Nigerians Considering recent ruling by the supreme court granting autonomy to the Local Government.
Elder Okoko urged President Tinubu to engage a youth leaders and discuss the problems facing them and possible solutions.
He appealed to the protesters to give President Bola Tinubu at least three month to address the situation.
According to Elder Okoko after the subsidy removal, President Bola Tinubu released five hundred billion to each Governors’ in the 36 State for palliatives.
Elder Okoko stated that such palliative had no impact on the citizens and advised the Federal Government to channel the palliative resources to building industries that would engage young people and address joblessness.
He urged Government at all levels to urgently engage in the building of new roads and repair of damaged areas and provide sustained electricity.
