The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, has announced her resignation from office.
The former minister disclosed her decision on Friday through her official account on X, stating that her exit marks “not an end, but a new beginning.”
She expressed appreciation to Bola Tinubu, the Ministry of Labour and Employment, her constituents, and Nigerians at large for the opportunity to serve.
Onyejeocha previously represented the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives for 16 years, from 2007 to 2023, before her appointment as Minister of State for Labour and Employment.
Her resignation signals the end of her tenure in the current administration, though she hinted at future engagements in public service.
