A Youth Leader and Caretaker Committee Chairman for the Ikot-Abasi Mkpat Enin and Eastern Obolo Development Association, Comrade Imoh Okoko says the Association plans to empower youths from the area through scholarships and grants for businesses.
He also stated that women would be empowered through various welfare programmes.
Comrade Okoko gave the indication while interacting with Newsmen in Abuja.
He stressed the need for indigent members of the Association to identify with the forum to enable them to access the empowerment programmes available.
According to Comrade Okoko, the Caretaker Committee would use three months and organize election for substantive executive that would lead the Association for two years.
