Popular Nigerian media personality and comedian Nedu Wazobia has expressed disappointment over how his exit from Wazobia FM was handled, despite spending more than a decade at the station.
Nedu, whose real name is Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, revealed that after dedicating over 13 years to the radio platform, his resignation was met without acknowledgment.
According to him, the station did not organise a send-off event or offer any formal appreciation for his years of service.
Speaking recently about his career journey and transitions, Nedu said:
“I worked in Wazobia for 13 years plus, and when I resigned, they didn’t even do me a send-forth…”
Nedu’s long-running presence on Wazobia FM made him one of Nigeria’s most recognisable radio personalities, known for his humour, distinctive voice, and vibrant on-air style.
