President Tinubu Hails Young Nigerian Champions for English, Debate Excellence in UK

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated three brilliant Nigerian students Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli for emerging world champions at the 2025 TeenEagle Global Competition held in London, United Kingdom.

In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the president praised the girls for showcasing Nigeria’s academic excellence on the global stage.

Seventeen-year-old Nafisa was crowned the overall best in English language communication skills, while 15-year-old Rukayya was named best debater. Hadiza also shone brightly, clinching the gold medal for outstanding talent.

President Tinubu commended their schools and described the victory as a reflection of the potential within Nigeria’s education system to produce world-class talents. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to investing in education and removing financial barriers through initiatives like the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).

He urged the champions to remain focused in their academic pursuits, emphasizing that their achievements serve as an inspiration to millions of young Nigerians.
