A graduate of Dramatic Arts from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, the Kaduna-born creative brings more than 25 years of experience in film, television, and stage productions to the position.
Rita Daniels, mother of popular actress Regina Daniels, based her campaign on member welfare, protection, and empowerment.
Her candidacy stirred debate after outgoing president Rollas publicly urged her to prioritize family responsibilities.
In other election results, Ifeoma Okeke emerged as the new National Secretary. Past presidents of the AGN include Larry Williams, Emma Ogugua, Zack Orji, Ejike Asiegbu, Segun Arinze, and Ibinabo Fiberesima.
