Samuel Ojeogwu, popularly known as Sammy, and the brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has been granted bail after spending several days in detention.
Sammy was reportedly released on Monday, November 10, 2025, following his remand by a Dutse Magistrate Court last Thursday, which had initially sent him to Keffi Prison before he was later transferred to Suleja Prison.
His elder brother, known on Instagram as @Sweezzy1, celebrated the news of his release, by posting, “Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you.”
Activist MamaPee also confirmed the development, sharing a video from outside the courtroom where Sammy’s bail was secured.
Sammy’s detention reportedly stemmed from allegations of harassment and intimidation linked to the ongoing dispute between Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
While details of the case remain unclear, sources suggest the incident is connected to tensions surrounding the couple’s publicized disagreements.
