NDLEA Declares Four Wanted Over Drug Trafficking Linked to Lagos Kingpin

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has declared four individuals wanted for their alleged involvement in a drug trafficking syndicate linked to notorious Lagos drug lord, Alhaji Suleiman Ganiu, also known as Barryshine.

Barryshine, the Managing Director/CEO of Barryshine Suleiman Nigeria Ltd., was arrested on August 26, 2024, following a two-year investigation into his alleged role in multiple foiled attempts to export cocaine to Saudi Arabia and Qatar via Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

In a statement on Monday, NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi revealed that numerous drug couriers working for Barryshine had already been arrested, prosecuted, and convicted, while the alleged kingpin himself faces multiple criminal charges.

Four New Suspects Declared Wanted
The latest NDLEA crackdown has now extended to four more individuals:

Olarenwaju Abdulai (a.k.a. Alhaji Loyingbo)
Oluwafemi Abidoye (a.k.a. Igbono, Baba Eje, Ade Iwaya, Femi Iwaya)
Olumuyiwa Ilori (a.k.a. Murphy)
Alate Bukki of Kaffy Travels
The Federal High Court in Lagos, presided over by Justice Akintayo Aluko, issued a court order mandating the public display of the suspects’ photographs.

The NDLEA urges the public to provide any information regarding the whereabouts of the fugitives by contacting the nearest NDLEA command, calling the toll-free helpline (080010203040), or reaching out via official social media channels.
