Vivian, the wife of media personality Nkubi, has recounted a disturbing experience she had during a prenatal medical checkup, shedding light on what she described as prejudice and insensitivity within the healthcare system.

Speaking in an interview with Pulse One-on-One, Vivian revealed that the incident occurred during her anomaly scan appointment.

According to her, after reviewing the scan, the doctor asked whether there was any history of dwarfism in her family.

“When I did my anomaly scan and handed it to the doctor, he asked, ‘Does anyone have a trait of dwarfism in your family?’ I said, ‘Yes, it is my husband,’” she explained.

Vivian said the consultation took a more troubling turn when the doctor allegedly questioned her decision to conceive with her husband.

She claimed the doctor asked why she did not consider getting pregnant by her brother-in-law or seeking a sperm donor instead.

“And yes, that is what a doctor told me,” she said, expressing disappointment over what she described as unequal treatment and a lack of respect for people’s rights.

Her revelation has sparked conversations about discrimination, medical ethics, and the need for greater sensitivity in healthcare delivery.
