The founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, has come under renewed public scrutiny following fresh allegations involving a 19-year-old girl reportedly living overseas.

An emotional woman, identified as the girl’s mother, allegedly contacted writer and social commentator Solomon Buchi to share claims concerning the cleric’s supposed involvement with her daughter.

According to the woman, Pastor Adegboyega is alleged to operate through a female church member identified as Mariam, who she claimed plays a role in recruiting young girls into the church.

The woman further alleged that the pastor discourages church members from following or listening to other spiritual leaders. She claimed that Mariam engages in harmful spiritual practices and that individuals introduced to the church through her often experience negative outcomes.

In addition, the woman accused Pastor Adegboyega of encouraging young church members to sever ties with their families after joining the ministry.

In an audio recording reportedly shared with Solomon Buchi, she requested anonymity, citing fears that her daughter could become further isolated from her family, as she alleged had previously occurred.

According to her account, the family owns a property in London, but her daughter was allegedly influenced to leave the family home and move into what she described as a “trap house” associated with the church. She also claimed that the 19-year-old was persuaded to take on a debt of £350,000.

The woman further alleged that longstanding rumours and reports surrounding Pastor Adegboyega are true, urging members of the public to conduct independent research into his activities. She also claimed that the pastor allegedly pays intermediaries to facilitate connections with celebrities.

Pastor Adegboyega has been linked to several controversies in the past. In 2023, a professional footballer accused him of contributing to the collapse of his marriage.

Separately, during a DNA-related controversy in which his name surfaced, the pastor reportedly downplayed the issue, joking publicly about his children returning home.

As of the time of this report, Pastor Adegboyega has not publicly responded to the latest allegations.
