A rising rapper from Atlanta, Tekquan Alexander, has been accused of assault on his 4-year-old daughter so badly, she has not opened her eyes in months.
According to the Emergency Report, ER, Per Dr. Ha Son Nguyen, stated that, the child, Alani, has extensive bleeding from the subdural hematoma, located on the right side of her brain and because of the buildup pressure, the child’s right part of her skull was removed to evacuate the bleeding.
Dr. Nguyen, assured the child’s stability, but requires immediate procedures, once transferred to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, CHLA.
The child’s mother, Keyonna Watts, stated that she allowed Alani, to stay with her father in Atlanta for just three months as they are no longer living together, stressing that, she only got to know the critical situation her daughter was in, when she received an emergency call.
Alexander, allegedly told investigators that ” the child is a ” bed-wetter”. When she wets the bed, he punishes her by making her do rigorous exercises with an element of physical abuse”.
Detectives secured a warrant to search Alexander’s property, where they say, they found an unsecured rifle and handgun in his bedroom.
He was booked into jail and is being held in lieu of $500,000 bail.
No additional details were released amid the ongoing investigation.
