Elon Musk has become the first individual in history to achieve a net worth of $600 billion, according to Forbes’ Real-Time Billionaires list.
The milestone follows a recent tender offer by Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) that valued the company at approximately $800 billion, based on investor-quoted figures reported by Forbes.
As a result of the updated valuation, Musk’s estimated net worth surged to around $677 billion.
The increase further widened the gap between Musk and the world’s second-richest person, Google co-founder Larry Page.
