Reports circulating online on Sunday has claimed that legendary Hollywood filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Reiner, were found dead at their Los Angeles home, sparking widespread concern and confusion.

Los Angeles authorities confirmed that police and firefighters responded to a residence in an upscale neighbourhood on Sunday afternoon, where a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene.

However, officials have not publicly identified the individuals, and no confirmation has been made linking the incident to Rob Reiner or his wife.
