Youths Engage In Solidarity March For Armed Forces And Security Agencies Youths Ahead Of General Election

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN has inaugurated a One-Million Man Youth March Against Electoral Violence and Insecurity as well as a Seven Days of Action to Celebrate the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

During the event in Abuja, the President of the NYCN, Comrade Solomon Adodo said that the event was also to commend and encourage all security agencies to do more before, during and after the general election.

Comrade Adodo explained that the march was necessitated with the recent attacks on INEC offices, urging the security agencies to arrest the perpetrators.

Comrade Adodo advised young people across the Country to remain peaceful, collect their voter cards, and exercise their franchise during the elections.

The Youths carried pla cards with inscriptions such as: “Nigeria Youths, Say No To Electoral Violence”, “Stop Vandalism of INEC Offices” and “Stop The Killing of Security Operatives”.

The march commenced from the Youth House at Area one through the UTC to the Defence Headquarters, and Force Headquarters where letters were submitted to the authorities.
