Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has responded after being declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command over allegations of assaulting government officials on duty.

The police issued a statement on Monday, February 17, declaring the singer wanted. However, in a series of posts on his Instagram story, Portable denied the allegations, insisting he had not committed murder.

“I didn’t kill anybody. If anything happens to me, there will be trouble. They should post the evidence of where I fought them at my bar. They are evil people, and they are lying against me. Just kill me and let everywhere scatter,” he wrote.

In another post, the singer pleaded with the Ogun State government for forgiveness, attributing his troubles to a spiritual attack.

“All these evil things happening to me, it’s a spiritual attack. God save me. I’m facing a lot of sicknesses all over my body. I’m taking care of myself. Pain in my body. Ogun State government, please forgive me,” he pleaded.

Portable also shared a video where he reiterated that he is not a criminal and does not want to be imprisoned.

The Ogun State Police Command has yet to provide further updates on the case.
