At the resumed hearing today, Justice Simon Aboki admitted seven additional exhibits in the ongoing murder trial of 32-year-old singer Oluwatimileyin Daniel Ajayi, who is accused of killing Salome Adaidu, a female corps member.

During the session, the prosecution, led by Raymond Umaru, introduced a police officer as a new witness. The officer submitted critical pieces of evidence, including a mobile phone used to record footage of six polythene bags containing the dismembered remains of the victim. The severed head of the deceased was also reportedly discovered in the defendant’s bathroom and bedroom.

Following a review of the exhibits, Justice Aboki adjourned the proceedings until noon to allow the court to view the recorded video.

So far, the prosecution has presented four witnesses in the case.
