The Anambra State House of Assembly has expressed confidence in Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s leadership, passing a vote of confidence in recognition of his administration’s achievements over the past three years.
Speaking to journalists in Awka, Speaker of the House, Mr. Somtochukwu Udeze, highlighted key areas where the governor has made significant progress. Reports from various legislative committees underscored Soludo’s impact in infrastructure development, security, human capital investment, education, youth empowerment, agricultural transformation, and societal reforms.
The Speaker emphasized that the state’s ongoing road construction projects are a catalyst for economic growth and development. He also credited the legislative arm for its role in supporting the administration’s success, particularly in addressing security challenges through the timely passage of the Homeland Security Law.
Commending the governor’s political will, Mr. Udeze noted that Soludo’s commitment to infrastructural expansion and development has set Anambra on a progressive trajectory.
