The Minister for Women Affairs Dame Pauline Tallen has expressed sadness following reports of killings in some communities of Mangu Local Government area of Plateau state.
In a statement, the described specifically the high casualty of women and children as unpardonable and called for urgent steps to be taken by security operatives in the area to halt further escalation of violence.
While commiserating with people of Mangu local government area, and indeed Plateau state the minister prayed that a repeat would never be experienced.
Dame Pauline Tallen appeals to the Government of Plateau state and security operatives to ensure perpetrators of this heinous acts are fished out and made to face the full wrath of the law.
