Popular Nigerian cross-dresser and social media personality Bobrisky has sparked fresh reactions online after criticising a viral figure popularly known as the “Fish Pie” vendor.

In a series of posts shared on Instagram, Bobrisky expressed strong disapproval of the young man, who recently gained public attention, accusing him of being ungrateful to those who had previously supported him.

The social media personality stated that if he had ever assisted the vendor, he would have cut off all communication after seeing a video in which the man allegedly spoke negatively about his benefactors.

Bobrisky further described helping ungrateful people as “pouring water into a basket,” suggesting that such efforts often go to waste. He also admitted that he never liked the vendor, adding that people who appear overly desperate should sometimes be avoided.

The comments have triggered mixed reactions across social media platforms, with some users agreeing with Bobrisky’s stance on gratitude, while others criticised his tone and choice of words.

He also used the opportunity to advise individuals to always show appreciation to those who have helped them, regardless of how little the assistance may seem.

“Never speak ill of someone who once helped you. Even if it was a small amount, appreciate it,” he said, noting that even close family members may not always be able to offer support in difficult times.
