Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has survived a road accident with minor injuries while on official duty along the Daura-Katsina Road.
In a statement released on Monday by the Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, it was confirmed that the governor is in stable condition, sustained no serious injuries, and remains in good health and high spirits.
Governor Radda, who addressed citizens through a short live video from his residence after undergoing preliminary medical checks, assured the public that he is doing well and remains under observation purely as a precautionary measure.
> “Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim. Dear brothers and sisters of Katsina State and beyond, we are deeply grateful for all your prayers and concern. By the will of Allah, we were tested with a car accident—but Alhamdulillah, we came out safe and unharmed,” he stated.
He also expressed deep gratitude to Almighty Allah, as well as the people of Katsina and other well-wishers who reached out with concern and prayers following the incident.
> “Once again, thank you for your heartfelt prayers. Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullah,” the governor concluded.
Governor Radda is expected to resume full official engagements after medical clearance, as the government continues its commitment to development and service delivery across Katsina State.
