The family of Hollywood actor Bruce Willis has announced that his brain will be donated to scientific research following his death, in a bid to advance understanding of frontotemporal dementia.
Willis, who stepped away from acting after being diagnosed with the condition, will contribute to medical research aimed at improving knowledge, treatment, and future care for those living with the disease.
His wife, Emma Heming Willis, described the decision as deeply emotional but necessary, explaining that it was made with the hope that it could help scientists make meaningful progress and offer support to other families affected by similar neurological conditions.
