The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, located in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, has reopened for worship just days after a deadly bandit attack plunged the community into grief.
A video from the church’s first service since the incident shows a pastor addressing a noticeably smaller congregation, as worshippers cautiously return to the sanctuary five days after the violent attack.
The assault occurred on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, during a church meeting when armed terrorists invaded the premises, killing two worshippers, injuring another, and abducting 38 members of the congregation.
In spite of the painful losses, the church leadership and surviving members gathered again in a powerful display of resilience, choosing to resume worship and stand firm in their faith.
