Christians have been urged to boldly proclaim the kingship and supreme authority of Jesus Christ over the entire universe.
The call was made by the Priest in Residence at Queen of Apostles’ Catholic Parish in Lafia, Nasarawa State, Professor Thomas Akpen, during the celebration of the Solemnity of Jesus Christ, the Universal King—also known as the Feast of Christ the King—which marks the end of the Catholic liturgical year.
Professor Akpen encouraged believers to submit every aspect of their lives to the reign of Christ, allowing His authority to guide their actions, decisions, and daily conduct.
He emphasized that Christians must profess Christ’s kingship not only with words but through their deeds, thoughts, and the way they live out their faith.
