Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has debunked widespread rumours suggesting that he and his wife, Temi Otedola, have welcomed their first child.
Speculation began after a user on X (formerly Twitter) shared AI-generated images purporting to show Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, cradling a newborn baby. The post claimed that the couple had secretly welcomed a baby girl after being together for eight years.
“Finally! Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi have reportedly welcomed their first child, a healthy baby girl after eight years together,” the post read.
The claim quickly gained traction on social media, triggering congratulatory messages from fans and followers who believed the report to be true.
However, Mr Eazi promptly shut down the speculation. Responding on X, the singer reacted sarcastically, questioning whether his wife was even aware that she had supposedly given birth, effectively dismissing the viral claim as false.
The response put an end to the rumours, highlighting the growing concern over the spread of misinformation and AI-generated content on social media platforms.
