Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has announced a reconciliation with her former husband, Dr. Olakunle Churchill, bringing an end to a decade of public conflict between them.
In a statement shared on her Instagram page, the actress described the reconciliation as a divine intervention following years of bitterness, broken communication, and emotional pain.
According to Dikeh, what once appeared irreparable has now been restored through faith, humility, and prayer.
“After ten long years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God stepped in,” she wrote, noting that peace and mutual respect have replaced hostility.
She credited the healing of their relationship to spiritual growth and what she described as the sincere prayers of their child.
Dikeh expressed gratitude to Churchill, the father of her son, for choosing peace and yielding to what she described as God’s direction.
She emphasized that the reconciliation was not achieved through human effort but through spiritual transformation.
The actress also used the moment to encourage others facing prolonged conflict or emotional distress, urging them not to lose hope. She stated that restoration is possible, even after years of pain, and encouraged continued prayer and perseverance.
Describing the reconciliation as “10 years in one day,” Dikeh said she hopes their renewed relationship will stand as a testimony of faith, mercy, and healing. She concluded by thanking her spiritual mentor for guiding her personal growth.
The former couple’s reconciliation has sparked widespread reactions online, with many supporters praising the development as a rare example of peaceful resolution after a highly publicised separation.
