The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council has announced it will honour veteran media professional, Mrs. Moji Danisa, with the prestigious Trailblazer in Tabloid Journalism Award. This recognition celebrates her remarkable impact and trailblazing achievements in Nigeria’s media industry.
A respected investigative journalist, television presenter, producer, scriptwriter, and documentarian, Moji Danisa has consistently set high standards in tabloid journalism through fearless reporting and engaging storytelling. Over the years, she has demonstrated unwavering commitment to uncovering stories that matter while balancing popular appeal with professional integrity.
In a statement signed by the Council Secretary, Mr. Jide Oyekunle, the NUJ FCT Council emphasized Danisa’s rapid rise through media ranks — from sub-editor to the head of her own media enterprises. “Her bold leadership and innovative approach to storytelling have reshaped the landscape of tabloid journalism in Nigeria,” the statement noted.
