President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Colonel Mohammed Mana (Rtd.), a former military administrator of Plateau State and one-time senator.

Mana, a respected chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reportedly passed away in the early hours of Saturday in Abuja. He represented Adamawa North Senatorial District from 2007 to 2011 and, until his death, chaired the APC Reconciliation Committee in Adamawa State.

In a condolence statement issued by his spokesman, Bayou Onanuga, President Tinubu described the late politician as “a distinguished patriot and officer gentleman who gave much to his fatherland in and out of uniform.”

The President praised Mana’s unwavering commitment to the common good and his role in promoting unity, noting that his wisdom and leadership would be greatly missed.

Tinubu extended heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Adamawa State, as well as the APC family, who benefited from Senator Mana’s guidance.
