Police Arrests 2 With Human Parts In Kwara

The rate of using human parts for rituals have increased with a report from the Kwara State Police Command on men arrested with fresh human head and hands.

This time around, it involves the head and hands of a very young person suspected to be between 10 to 15 years.

Two men identified as Wasiu Omonose, 35, and Akanbi Ibrahim, 32, on motorcycle, were obstructed by police on patrol at Oke/Oyi Jebba road, Ilorin Kwara State.

According to the police spokesman, Okasanmi Ajayi, the policemen attached to Operation Harmony, at about 1130hrs, intercepted the men, who attempted to evade the officers.

The suspects were then pursued and forced to stop. On searching them, the police discovered a bag containing fresh human head and hands.

On interrogation, the suspects said they were taking the human parts to an Alfa in Ilorin for rituals.

The police spokesman stressed that the suspects would be charged to court on completion of investigation.

Two Suspected Ritualists Arrested In Ilorin

Kwara state police command, has arrested two suspected ritualists with fresh human head and hands at Oke Oyi, on Jenna road, in llorin.

The Command’s Spokesman, Okasanmi Ajayi, in a statement, said, Policemen on patrol of Oke/Oyi Jebba road, obstructed two men on a motorcycle, who made efforts to avoid the officers on duty.

The statement noted that, the action caused the suspicion of the operatives, who were chased and forced to stop.

It further explained that, the search contained a fresh human head and hands, found in their possession.

During an interrogation, the suspected ritualists simply identified as Wasiu Omonose and Akanbi Ibrahim, both 35 and 32 years respectively, said they were taking the fresh human parts to an Alfa in Ilorin, for ritual purposes.

The statement maintained that the suspected ritualists, will charged to court for prosecution, as soon as the investigation matter is concluded.
