A Lady, Victoria Ayomide Agboola, who falsely accused Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, of rape has faced legal consequences following her actions.
Identified on social media as @chubbiedivah, she reportedly deactivated her X account and fled both social media and her husband’s house in an attempt to avoid arrest.
She was eventually arrested on 6th November 2025, detained, and formally charged in court on 10th November 2025.
Rudeboy had deliberately refrained from publicly commenting on her arrest to prevent any public sympathy that might influence her release.
Within 24 hours of her detention, the accused reportedly complained of difficulty breathing and swollen legs, prompting a temporary release to seek medical attention.
Her lawyer assured the court that she would return on 10th November; however, she failed to appear, citing ongoing health concerns.
The case was adjourned to 17th November, but she again did not appear, claiming she remained under medical supervision.
The next hearing has been scheduled for 1st December 2025, with the court ordering that either she or her lawyer must be present unfailingly.
The incident underscores the seriousness of falsely accusing someone of rape, with Rudeboy’s legal team emphasizing that justice must be served.
