Armed bandits have abducted the Ojibara of Bayagan, Oba Kamilu Salami, in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, heightening concerns over rising insecurity across local communities.
According to preliminary reports, the traditional ruler was seized on Saturday morning while working on his farm.
Although full details of the attack remain unclear, residents said the ambush happened suddenly and threw the entire community into panic.
As of the time of filing this report, the Kwara State Police Command has not issued an official statement confirming the incident.
