Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has revealed his intention to tie the knot this year, signaling the end of his self-proclaimed “Playboy” lifestyle.
The Afrobeats star took to Snapchat to share his thoughts, admitting that attending multiple weddings has made him reconsider his approach to relationships. He emphasized his desire to settle down soon, noting that he will be turning 30.
“Everybody is just getting married. Got me questioning myself—how long will I continue this Playboy shiii? I’m settling down this year, period. I’ll soon be 30, tf,” Ruger wrote.
His declaration comes shortly after he admitted in an interview that while he naturally leans toward serious relationships, he often loses interest over time.
“I am a loverboy, it’s just now that I understand that relationships don’t work for me. But normally, my first instinct when I see a girl is to think about how I can get serious with her,” he revealed.
