The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has officially launched its cutting-edge AI-powered Intelligent Company Registration Portal (ICRP), introducing a new era of seamless, faster, and fully digital business registration in Nigeria.
The platform, which became operational today, July 6, 2026, allows entrepreneurs and business owners to reserve company names and complete full registrations online, with the ease of opening an email account.
According to a statement released by the Commission, the ICRP is designed to enhance Nigeria’s Ease of Doing Business ranking by eliminating cumbersome procedures, reducing processing time, and introducing artificial intelligence (AI)–guided features that ensure smarter and more accurate data entry.
“This marks a significant milestone in our ongoing digital transformation. The portal represents our commitment to innovation, efficiency, and excellent service delivery,” the CAC noted.
