Nigerian dancer and socialite Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has been formally charged in the United Kingdom with five alleged sexual offences.

According to court records, the charges include attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration.

Snaresbrook Crown Court in London confirmed the charges on Wednesday, with the court’s Admin Team Leader, James Baker, confirming the details in an email to The Punch.

The court also disclosed that a reporting restriction had been imposed to protect the anonymity of the complainant under the Sexual Offences Amendment Act 1992.

Poco Lee’s case is scheduled for plea and trial preparation on September 15, 2026, as the legal proceedings continue.

The dancer had previously been the subject of reports concerning the case, with his management and legal representatives urging restraint while the matter remains before the court.

The charges are allegations, and Poco Lee has not been convicted of any offence. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty by a court of law.
