The Federal Government has officially launched the 3rd National Identification Number (NIN) diaspora Enrolment center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. FG Targets Completion Of Optic Cable Project

The Federal Government says it is working frantically to complete the 120,000 kilometre fibre optic cable project to enhance internet access, financial inclusiveness and telecom services nationwide. Russia Threatens Criminal Case Against Meta

Russia has said that it is opening a criminal case against Meta for “calling for the murder” of their (Russian) citizens. The development, according to Russia, followed Meta’s (the parent company of Facebook and Instagram) action relaxing rules on violent messages aimed at Russia’s army and leaders. The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has filed a lawsuit against President Muhammadu Buhari over “the failure to review and rescind his reported approval for security agencies to access people’s personal details via NIN-SIM linkage without due process of law.” This is contained in a statement, by the SERAP Deputy Director, Kolawole Oluwadare.
