In their ongoing fight against illegal oil bunkering in Abia State, the Nigerian Army raided illegal mining sites at Obeaku in Ukwa West Local Government Area on Monday evening, arresting 17 suspects involved in the illicit activities. NDLEA Arrests Brazil Returnee With Cocaine, Declares Ex-Beauty Queen Wanted

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have apprehended Udechukwu Ekene Theophilus, a Brazil returnee, at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. Udechukwu ingested 60 wraps of cocaine, totaling 1.279 kilograms, on a flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Oil Theft: Navy Arrests Fake Officer, Two Others n Rivers

The Nigerian Navy said its operatives have arrested three suspects, including an imposter who impersonated a naval officer for allegedly issuing forged documents to facilitate illegal oil bunkering activities in Rivers State. The Commander, NNS Pathfinder, Commodore Desmond Igbo, disclosed this while parading the suspects before newsmen after which they were handed over to the police in Port Harcourt on Monday. Military Kills 180 Terrorists, Arrests 204 In Seven Days

The Defence Headquarters has said that the operations of the Armed Forces in the last one week have resulted in the killing of more than 180 terrorists, arrest of 204 others and the rescue of 234 kidnapped victims.
