FCCPC Summons MultiChoice Over DSTV, GOTV Price Hike
The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has summoned MultiChoice Nigeria over its decision to increase subscription rates for its pay-TV services, DStv and GOtv. Customers recently received notifications about the price hike, which will take effect on March 1, 2025. Under the new rates, the DStv Premium bouquet will rise from ₦37,000 to ₦44,500, while Compact+ subscribers will pay ₦30,000 instead of ₦25,000.
