Nigeria’s headline inflation rate dropped to 20.12% in August 2025, marking a significant decline from the 21.88% recorded in July 2025, according to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). “This represents the largest annual increase since the 14.7% rise in March 2009,” the agency said.
“This initiative is in tandem with the present administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s commitment to create job makers across the state who will in turn create job opportunities for Osun State job seekers.”
According to the report, the figure is 0.13 per cent points higher compared to the 21.91 per cent recorded in February 2023.
