The Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja has ruled that all members of the Lagos State House of Assembly must be joined as parties in the lawsuit filed by former Speaker, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, challenging his removal. Presiding over the case, Justice Yetunde Pinheiro adjourned the hearing of all pending applications to March 7, 2025. Hon. Obasa, who was ousted from his position by 36 lawmakers on January 13, 2025, filed the suit through his legal counsel, Chief Afolabi Fashanu (SAN), on February 12.
